SOS provides assistance for vehicles in the home country and abroad. This applies to cars, lorries with goods, motorcycles, motorhomes and caravans. We adapt our assistance product according to the individual customer's wishes and needs.
Some examples of what SOS motoring assistance can include:
- Salvage and towing
- Supervision of repairs
- Courtesy car
- Homeward transportation of the vehicle
- Onward or homeward travel for passengers
- Hotel accommodation and onward transportation
- Scrapping
- Retrieval of lost items on the motorways in accordance with the requirements of applicable legislation
- If the goods are damaged, SOS obtains an assessment and valuation by an expert in the field in the form of a report with recommendations
- Assistance with reloading, selling on, onward transportation or destruction of goods

Because our employees, together, speak more than 30 different languages, we are able to take care of communication with local authorities and repair shops on behalf of the injured party, for example, in the country where the incident occurred.
