As of 1 January 2006 SOS International a/s has acquired the Swedish company Skade och Räddningslarm AB (SORAB). SOS International a/s considers the acquisition of one the leading assistance companies in Sweden as part of a growth strategy in the Nordic market which is characterised by consolidation within the assistance industry.
By acquiring SORAB, SOS International a/s will be even better positioned in its biggest market, Sweden, and will thus be able to achieve even greater proximity and render better services to existing as well as new customers.
SOS International a/s considers SORAB's competencies primarily within vehicle assistance as an important strategic addition to SOS' position as a market leader in the Nordic countries and the basis for even better servicing of international customers.
