With great pride and joy, we announce that SOS was voted the best assistance organisation 2006. The election has taken place for the last 5 years and it is the third time that SOS was voted the world's best assistance and claims handler.
The awards ceremony took place in Prague on 3rd November at the International Travel Insurance Conference, ITIC. SOS was shortlisted for the finals by our customers and providers, and in the finals the global travel business (travel agencies, travel insurance, providers etc.) voted SOS as the winner of the category "Best claims and assistance handler" of the three finalists in this category.
We consider the fact that SOS reached the finals with the help of its customers and suppliers a very great honour and proof of good cooperation, and SOS shall do its best to extend this cooperation. SOS was the only assistance company from the Nordic countries to reach the finals.
