SOS still among the world's best
For the 8th time SOS International was nominated as the world's best in its field. Four times SOS has won the prize as the world’s best assistance organisation.
We did not win a prize this year but again SOS International was one of the finalists at the ITIJ Industry Awards Ceremony 2009, which took place on 5 November in Athens. SOS was nominated in the category ‘Assistance/Claims Handler of the year’. Four times out of eight, SOS International has been elected the world’s best assistance organisation for travellers with travel insurance.
The prize is the global travel insurance industry’s counterpart of the Oscar of the film industry. The prize was established in 2002 by the leading global insurance magazine International Travel Insurance Journal, which is read by people of the industry all over the world.
Four prizes speak for themselves
Bo Uggerhøj, president and CEO of SOS International passes the honour of the international fame on to the employees, customers and owners.
