What the offices do

The negotiating and representation functions of our offices and the operational tasks they perform vary from one region to another. Typical tasks include:

  • Negotiating price agreements and preparation of SOS’ standard price lists for the region
  • Local assistance and collaboration with local authorities
  • Facilitating our payment guarantee
  • Dealing with suppliers, cash payouts and reimbursement of bills
  • Receipt of bills, cost control and payment on behalf of SOS
  • Taking calls via a dedicated SOS telephone number and giving advice
  • Local business with SOS products

A number of service offices hold meet-and-greet briefings about the local area for secondments abroad or group travel, etc.
